At METAACOG, we offer dedicated advocacy and support for vulnerable students and their families. Our independent services are here to ensure every child has access to the resources and rights they deserve - without cost being a barrier. Most of our support is completely free, and where there is a small fee, we keep it as low as possible for families. Because every child deserves an advocate, not a price tag.

Special Edcuational Needs & Disabilities

METAACOG is committed to providing advocacy, advice, and support for vulnerable students and families. We operate independently of local authority advisory services, ensuring that every voice is heard.
We help families and students who are not receiving their entitlement to Special Educational Needs (SEN).
With our independent educational assessments and access arrangement testing, we strive for equitable educational opportunities.

Picture the Numbers

Nearly half of school suspensions in England were among pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Students with Special Educational Needs are three times more likely to be suspended than their classmates.

BBC, (2025, July 10), School suspensions rise to nearly a million in England, BBC News, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c784ezdmnp4o

We help to ensure students with SEN can succeed at school

Truly Independent Advocacy

We are truly independent.

Unlike local authority SEN advisory services, we are not funded by or connected to any authority or school. Our strongest and only allegiance is to the student and their family.

We are not here to minimise costs for institutions — we are here to maximise potential. That means ensuring every young person receives the support they need to thrive in education - not be pushed out or excluded from it.

We Break Down Barriers

Our independent services are here to ensure every child has access to the resources and the rights they deserve - without cost being a barrier. Most of our support is completely free, and where there is a small fee, we keep it as low as possible for families.

Because every child deserves an advocate, not a price tag.
